Chinas Religions




Some of China's religions are:Buddhism, Christianity, and Confucianism.
Buddhism which came to China as early as first century A.D . 68million Chinese still consider themselves Buddhists. It was usually based on local gods and served as local gods.
Christianity Missionaries have been in china since the seventeen century. During the Mongol dynasty , Nestorian and roman catholic churches were establishes ,but only served to mongol people instead of local Chinese.
Confucianism lived for 551-479 B.C in the state of L.U. he came from a family of officials and his concern with the restoration of (dao) of the ancient ages. however,in 59A.D doring the hayn dynasty. It was decreed that sacrifice should be made to Confucius and this began a process which was to make Confucian philosophy into the foundation of the Chinese political order.

GODS:
Ao: Ao is the 4 dragon king named Ao chin, Ao kuang, Ao jun and Ao shun. Each was responsible for a part of earth ans an area of sea.

Chin -nii: Chin-nii is the goddesses of spinners weavers and clouds. she rules over handcrafts and rain.
